Katie now runs her own law practice specializing in trademark, patent and copyright helping entrepreneurs and start-ups.
Leadership
Katie currently serves on the boards of the Poverello Center homeless shelter, and New Leaders Council - Montana, a leadership training program for progressive millennials. She is also on the Leadership Team of the University District Neighborhood Council. Last legislative session, Katie teamed up with Representative Nate McConnell to introduce a technology and data privacy bill which would protect the private data of Montanans. Although the bill did not make it through, Katie is excited to continue pushing for smart technology policy on a state level.
How I want to participate in PowerHouse
Contact me if you want to talk trademark, branding, innovation and patents! I would love to chat about your business and help find ways to protect your intellectual assets. I also love brainstorming about policy - especially policy dealing with technology, innovation and supporting our scientific community. Go STEM!
