Leadership Experience

As a community journalist in the Gallatin Valley for five years, I researched, wrote and delivered stories about many different facets of community including schools, governments, cops & court, health, business, human interest and more. In this role, I learned to be a leader in fearlessly asking questions and unabashedly showing up to events and scenes to help keep a well-informed public.

As the Communications Director of the food bank in Lewis & Clark County, I was lucky to be able to completely overhaul the communications plan for the organization & show measurable financial outcomes that benefited folks facing hunger in the area.

As the Marketplace Director for the Better Business Bureau, I get to be the sole BBB employee for the state of Montana and work to advance marketplace trust throughout the state.

 

How I want to participate in PowerHouse

I will absolutely be a resource for other women. I have volunteered and worked in roles to support women for my entire career.
