Business Management, Markting, Communication and working with buyers and sellers
Mikaela feels fortunate to have been born and raised in beautiful Bozeman, Montana. Growing up in a family of Bobcats, naturally she chose to attend Montana State University in Bozeman and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Management, and a Minor in Entrepreneurship. After graduation, Mikaela received her real estate license and joined the ERA team as a Sales Associate.
Leadership, especially through sports, was instilled in Mikaela and her two brothers at a very young age. Her father Mick Durham was the head coach of the Men’s Bobcat Basketball team from 1989-2006. This is definitely where the majority of her leadership aspirations started to take root. Watching him day in and day out coach and lead his team was the best leadership training she could ask for.
How I Want to Participate in PowerHouse
One of the main reason I’d like to be involved with Powerhouse Montana is for the pure concept of women helping other women. This is something I strongly believe in and think is extremely important in today’s society. I am a fairly independent person and I think it is very important for all women to have mentors and other women to turn to for professional and personal advice and support.
I truly do have a passion for my community, for helping people, and for giving back. Real estate has allowed me the opportunity to balance all three of these important aspects of my life. I really do believe that if you love what you are doing you will never work a day in your life.
