I have a degree in Business Marketing with an emphasis in fashion. I am an entrepreneur and started my own business almost two years ago. I have been active in non-profits for several years, and am currently the community impact coordinator for my local Junior League chapter. I am skilled in social media marketing and advertising, as well as event planning.
I am currently the Community Impact Coordinator for Junior League of Great Falls. In that role, I have been responsible for organizing volunteer activities and events in our community, as well as facilitating community outreach programs. I have been part of planning charitable rummage sales, community clean-up projects at various organizations, hat and glove drives, infant supply drives, etc. In Junior League, we work to improve the lives of women and children, as well as to train women to be leaders. I was also awarded the Five Under 35 award in 2018 for being a young professional in Great Falls who is actively trying to make a positive difference in our community.
How I Want to Participate in PowerHouse
I would love to participate in Powerhouse as a resource for women who have questions about how to get involved in their community through non-profits. I would also love to be a resource for women who are thinking about starting their own business. I have only been in business for two years, but would love to speak to women about what I’ve learned already, the trials and tribulations of a new business owner, and the growing pains I think all new, green entrepreneurs experience, regardless of the industry they are an entrepreneur in! I would love to have the opportunity to speak to our younger generations of Montana girls who might not have even explored the idea that someday they could be their own boss, and start their dream business, because I know that wasn’t something that even crossed my mind when I was in high school!
I would love the opportunity to be a part of Powerhouse Montana to join a group of like-minded women who are working to better the lives of women in our state, and who are working to create such a bright future for our girls!
