Founder and Group Representative for the artists’ collective, called “volume”, in Glasgow, Scotland. The collective exhibited throughout the UK and abroad, in addition to curating exhibitions and offering community-based photography workshops in Scotland.
Administrator, educator, and designer for Creative Interventions in Health in Glasgow, Scotland. Creative Interventions was a collaborative project in Glasgow’s East End, which aimed to demonstrate the positive impact that visual arts can have on health and wellbeing. The project works with professional artists and local community organizations on pilot projects using a variety of media including drawing and painting, digital photography, textiles, video, and printmaking. In 2005, I was asked to create a long-term installation for the Grampian Hospitals Art Trust in Aberdeen, Scotland, in collaboration with the nonprofit organization Art in Hospital.
