Leadership Experience

I have led several teams of private and public organizations to create educational gardens including Title-1 elementary school gardens, historic farmhouse educational centers, and regional botanic gardens. I love to bring people together to accomplish noble goals. My deep seeded passion for plants and the American West is present in every aspect of my life. I founded my design firm while I was still in horticulture school and my first commission was a spectacular success and is still a popular setting for fundraising events, weddings, and relaxing afternoons. Throughout the years I have never stopped learning and refining my skills. My focus is to use Western native plants to create beautiful, functional landscapes with the critically important addition of habitat creation, biodiversity, and reduction of the use of our finite resources. I am currently working to increase the production and retail availability of Montana native plants.

How I Want to Participate in PowerHouse

Please contact me if you have any interest in the production of native plants. I am looking for funding opportunities and contract growers as well as individuals interested in joining my Advisory Board.

I am currently taking new clients for landscape design. If you have property, large or small, and are interested in transforming it into your own Western paradise, I would be honored to help you realize your dreams.

…We were not told, but ours a knowing

We were the native strangers there

Among the things the land was growing

To know this gave us more the care

To let the grass keep at its growing

And let the streams keep at their flowing…
