How I Want to Participate in PowerHouse
I would love to be a resource for other professional women
What motivates and inspires you?
Watching my 16 year-old daughter mature into a thoughtful person. She is the primary reason I doggedly pursue the ideals of cooperative credit: to ensure that her generation has options in financial services.
Who are your sheroes?
My late maternal grandmother, mother, and daughter…all strong, genuine women.
What technology do you love and recommend to others? What about books, ideas or podcasts?
Cannot live without my iPad! I enjoy lively conversations with thought-leaders in my industry and read several books a month (and I read just about any genre, except Sci-fi, though if someone in my book club selects Sci-fi, I will read it).
How do you reboot?
Time spent with my family is the best reset that I have. (I am also a huge HGTV junkie!)
What is your biggest accomplishment?
Influencing a life…being a mother and helping to shape a strong, forward-thinking, emotionally-healthy, and kind person (my daughter). I also enjoy being a CEO by serving my team and clients.
What is the mark you hope to leave on the world?
Personally: that I provided an environment where my daughter and husband know that above everything I love and support them. Professionally: to ensure that future generations have access to not-for-profit financial cooperatives (credit unions).
Words of wisdom you want to share with Montana women?
Be authentic and be your best self; as Shakespeare wrote, “To thine own self be true.”
