I grew up in Bozeman and moved back in September 2016. I work in the nonprofit world as a Development Director, and have done so for over 20 years.

Research and writing, problem solving, nonprofit fundraising, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
I have been in leadership roles at nonprofit organizations for over 20 years. My experience is in fundraising, event planning, and outreach, but I also have a lot of experience with finances and budgeting. I have managed large (20+) teams, and smaller teams, learning valuable lessons about leadership along the way. I’ve worked with boards of directors and volunteers for many years, and have served on many committees and teams. I have experience working on capital campaigns at the organizations I have worked for, and led cross functional committees in many a planning process. I’ve been involved in many strategic planning processes as well.
How I Want to Participate in PowerHouse
I would love to help other women who might be interested in the nonprofit sector, social service, or conservation with career guidance or advice. I would also be very interested in talking with other women about opportunities to partner in new ways, explore new business ventures or career ideas. I have a lot of experience using excel and working with financial models, and enjoy solving complex analytical problems. Through it’s not career or job-related, I have been through a divorce and recently relocated my two children from WA (where their father still lives), and can shed some perspective on what that process was like and what I learned. I found other people who had been through the process to be very helpful when I was going through it, and wish I had had more support and insight.
