Kate Olp is a proud born-and-bred denizen of the Last Best Place who was raised in Billings, Montana. She attended college at the University of Montana, Missoula, graduating Magna Cum Laude with degrees in Philosophy, Political Science, and International Relations. Following several stays abroad, including as an intern at the British Institute of International Law and a Fellow with the Humanity in Action human rights initiative in Denmark, Kate chose to return to her much-loved Montana. Most recently, she has enjoyed the roles of Student Outreach Coordinator at MSU-B and Organizer with Hilltop Public Solutions while completing a Masters of Education. Kate had the privilege to work with Sheena Rice and Marian Bradley to form Justice4Cherice, which brought the tragic case of Cherice Moralez to national attention, and has been proud to fight for the rights of victims of sexual abuse and assault in Montana as a result.
