Leadership Experience

My career spans 15 years of work in private, non-profit, and government roles as well as significant volunteer efforts as the spouse of a military veteran. I have a BA from Boston College and an MA from the University of Washington. I’m an experienced technical project manager with deep background in matching business needs to technical solutions and interfacing between client and development teams. Today, I manage GlacialEscape alongside my husband, providing drone photography and IT services across the Flathead Valley, while also working as a freelance writer focused on the women’s health, wellness, and adventure sector.  I seek opportunities for mentorship and was frequently selected as the lead for training interns and incoming employees at previous jobs.

How I Want to Participate in PowerHouse

I’m eager to meet and engage with women working as entrepreneurs and leaders. I’m seeking the opportunity to both meet new mentors, and to mentor others. Finally, I’m excited to develop my own skills and entrepreneurial base, to increase the scope and potential of my ventures in Montana, and to support and network with other women in leadership roles.

Other Information

I grew up with deep roots in the west, splitting time between Montana and Colorado as a child. After nearly twenty years spent across the U.S. and abroad as a student, a military spouse and a government employee, I’m thrilled to be back in Montana permanently. I’m also an ultrarunner, yoga instructor-in-training, avid reader, and frequent traveler. You can learn more about me at my freelance site and blog, www.redpensandcoffee.com.
