Educator, writer, speaker
Gretchen Knuffke grew up in the mountains of Colorado and attended the University of Colorado. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and Elementary Education. She has taught preschool, 1st, 3rd, and 8th grade all over the country as her family has relocated 7 times. She is currently the 5th grade teacher at St. Matthew’s School in Kalispell.
She is the owner of Inspire Montana, a parent/teacher education company and is also a freelance writer and a speaker on topics relating to mentoring, teaching and parenting for excellence.
She and her husband of 25 years are the parents of 10 children, ranging in age from 6 to 24 years old. They are the owners of Tamarack Insurance Agency in Kalispell. She is also a love and logic facilitator and a certified parent coach.
Gretchen is passionate about books, reading aloud, growth mentality, goal setting and Montana. You can always find her hiking a trail or sitting by a lake with a good book.
How I Want to Participate in PowerHouse
I am an experienced speaker and writer and I would be happy to help Powerhouse Montana in any capacity. I am passionate about mentoring Montana’s young women to become the next generation of women to make a difference in our state.
