Leadership Experience

Amy Deines believes in being an agent of change for the business landscape in eastern Montana. Working for Montana Department of Labor and Industry for Job Service Glendive, Ms. Deines has worked in developing an employee pool in a region with exceptionally low unemployment.  In her career life, her wide range of experience has brought small and large corporations into the region, improved local government and business relations, and she has been a key to opening new revenue streams for area business.  From her farming roots as co-owner of SLADE Inc., Ms. Deines was an early adopter of value-added business practices leading to a national marketing campaign with endorsements from nationally known talent including Martha Stewart for the development of Whoopup Creek Luffas.  She established TBID in her community to improve the tourism climate in eastern Montana. Ms. Deines has degrees in Farm Ranch Management and Organizational Communications and a Master’s of Science in Public Relations from Montana State University.  Additionally she is a Montana Ambassador and a board member of multiple local and regional organizations.

How I Want to Participate in PowerHouse

Please contact me if you are needing mentoring or stuck and just need to talk to someone. From the above bio written by someone else (top hint of the day, ask an expert to do things you don’t want to) if you see something you would like to learn about that you think I may have information about please call.

Also remember that Job Service is for much more than just Jobs; they are a great resource from the state, from Employee handbooks (a must) and other Employer resources. Give me a call or email and we can talk.
